Is there anything more Midwestern than getting married in a forest of towering pines?! As a North Dakota and Minnesota wedding photographer, I always feel spoiled getting to document love stories at so many stunning venues. But I have to say, Stonewall Farms takes the cake. Documenting Jase and Beka’s intimate forest wedding at Stonewall Farms felt like an absolute dream. I’m truly convinced there couldn’t have been a more perfect place for these two to tie the knot.

Jase and Beka’s love story is such a sweet example of how the Lord works. One Summer’s day in 2022, Jase and Beka both just happened to be out on the lake. As Beka floated around on her paddle board, she heard what sounded like her board springing a leak. As she glanced up, she noticed Jase flying a drone. One summer later, full of golf, cornhole, and fishing, they fell in love. But it’s safe to say, Summer 2024 is shaping up to be the best summer yet for these lovers!
I’m always down for a couple taking their own spin on wedding traditions; Jase and Beka did exactly that. Their day began bright and early, just like most traditional weddings – except this wedding day had an 11:30 AM ceremony! I never knew just how much fun a midday wedding could be, but it was just such a fun way to spend a Saturday. The gals and guys spent their mornings getting ready separately before the day’s festivities began. After all the first looks wrapped up, Jase and Beka exchanged private vows overlooking their ceremony space. Private vows are such a sweet opportunity to enjoy a moment together before the craziness of the rest of the day begins.
Minnesota Forest Wedding Venues | Stonewall Farms
After Jase and Beka’s private vows, we were able to sneak away for bridal portraits around Stonewall Farms’ property. But my favorite part of the day was right before the ceremony began beneath the pines. Back in the lodge, the bridal party and immediate family gathered around Jase and Beka to pray over their marriage. And before you ask, yes, I was trying my best to fight back my own tears. Moments later, Jase and Beka said “I do” surrounded by their favorite people. Following the ceremony, an afternoon of pizza and lawn games began before the ‘goodbyes’. Jase and Beka’s intimate forest wedding at Stonewall Farms was the sweetest way to spend an early Summer’s day.
