In July 2022, I flew to Alaska to capture such amazing photos during a styled shoot, create beautiful connections with people, and got to explore God’s wonderful creation.
Andrea and Brian were an absolute dream couple- and to be able to tell their elopement story, has pushed me creatively to capture all things love and intimate.
Now let me take you back- and give you a little background of the couple. See below how the couple describes their relationship:
“This year, we will have been together for 8 years (marriage years is 3).
We met in our high school marching band. Brian played the snare drum
while Andrea played the flute. We started noticing each other during
band camp, and became infatuated with one another as soon as we
started talking to one another. Brian was actually the first person who
messaged Andrea on FB after finding out she was now single! He took
Andrea to Homecoming and that’s when she realized he was the one!
Brian is currently in the military, while Andrea is a Social Media
Marketer.”
We started off the morning in a unique way, as the couple got ready together at the beautiful VRBO. Andrea (@xmissandreav) got all glammed up by the wonderful (@emarosehairstudio). Every single detail was thought of by Gabriela (@thelightbetweenconnection) when planning for the elopement day. Even down to the stationary pieces (@honest.calligraphy).
As Andrea and Brian finished doing their final touches of getting ready, we sneaked downstairs from the loft where the couples could take some time to write their vows to each other. Once those vows were so thoughtfully written out- we walked around the property and captured their love, before we made the journey to (@hatcherspass) where we were able to capture the magnificent views our God has created.

As we traveled to the top of Hatchers Pass, and walked to our destination we were met by the wonderful officiant (@celticministries) who would do their vows.
What better way to end the promise of marriage then overlooking the mountains and taking a stroll for the first time as a new MARRIED couple!!
