How Incredible Is God’s Creation in Alaska?
In the summer of 2022, I had the amazing opportunity to visit Alaska for a styled shoot hosted by Hotzel Photography—and what an unforgettable experience it was! We were able to capture amazing couples for both Alaskan engagement photos and a Alaskan elopement.
To start, the couples I photographed were absolutely stunning. They brought so much energy and love, which made every moment and photo feel magical.
The journey to Alaska was quite the adventure. Although the drive was long and adjusting to the elevation took some time (especially since I was pregnant), it was absolutely worth it. When we finally arrived at Hatcher Pass, I was immediately struck by the charm of the little red houses. These historic cabins, filled with character and history, created the perfect backdrop for our shoot.
Beyond the red houses, the beauty of Alaska only got better. Just a short walk away, we found the most breathtaking road, surrounded by jaw-dropping views of the mountains. Seriously—do you see those mountains? They were like something straight out of a dream!
